Destination Healthy Living is custom-tailored for each client, not generalized for the masses. This is a significant differentiator and benefit of our program. A one-size-fits-all plan does not work for everyone because each client has differing needs and requirements. Accordingly, each client is placed on his/her own individualized plan that includes a multidimensional approach addressing the client’s specific needs. 

A comprehensive health history is conducted for each client and all dietary, lifestyle and exercise needs/challenges are thoroughly assessed and evaluated. Our goal is to benefit each client personally by assisting, educating, motivating and supporting him/her in attaining the client’s goals, whether it be weight loss, sugar overload, caffeine addiction, stress or overcoming a specific health challenge.  

Program Routine consists of a weekly visit with your Weigh To Health certified nutritionist. Depending upon the type of program, detailed discussions and materials are provided to thoroughly address the health issue and its appropriate protocol.  For example, if the program is weight management, the client will also be weighed, instructed about liver overload, food allergies, food rotation, supplements and the client’s food records will be carefully evaluated. The benefits of these visits provide clients with accountability, comprehensive information and the necessary skills to keep weight off for the long term. 
 
Ongoing Education is emphasized throughout the program.  Specific behavior modification, exercise, and general lifestyle habits are monitored on each visit. Teaching our clients about specific nutritional concepts and problem solving skills specific to individual challenges is a key part of each visit.  These new skills ultimately enable clients to effectively reach and sustain their nutritional goals.  In between check-ins by phone and/or email are offered to ensure support, motivation and accountability for further ensuring client goal attainment! 
 
Nutritional Insights are predicated upon current findings from the Mayo Clinic’s food guide pyramid and Bauman College, with an emphasis on nutrient dense whole foods according to client likes/dislikes, specific health needs, allergies/sensitivities and individual caloric requirements. The macronutrient balance (protein, fats and carbohydrates ratio) is always evaluated according to the client’s specific needs based on metabolic/nutritional needs.  
 
Behavior Modification and creating new lifestyle skills are key to changing lifestyle habits. Changing any habit is difficult, however, the bottom line is if habits are not changed, new results transition back into old, unsatisfactory results.  Weigh To Health provides support, education and motivation empowering our clients to achieve goals according to each client’s desired pace.  Our clients will learn how to problem solve their personal challenges, which are as varied as the individual.  Our initial objective is to determine the underlying causes of client issues around stress, weight loss, excessive sugar consumption, caffeine addiction, overworked liver and a host of other topics.  Weigh To Health then helps each client to build sustainable solutions for a healthy, sustainable result.
